Gravit Designer graphic design software tool

Alexander Adam founded Gravit Designer, an HTML-based tool for creating excellent vector graphics. Gravit Designer was acquired by Corel in mid-2018, expanding their portfolio of digital media applications. With Gravit Designer, you can make a wide range of projects, including print designs, screen designs, presentations, print designs, icons, and app designs.

It is possible to download Gravit Designer or use it as a browser-based application. Chrome, Linux, Mac, and Windows are all supported operating systems. (The browser version may function better for you and is typically the most recent.) I used a Mac to access the browser version of this article, which is where you can find the screenshots and instructions.

Gravit Designer is intended for whom?

It's not a tool that is automatic for beginners, and there is no wizard to guide you after your first design, so you need to be familiar with tools like this. Gravit Designer is intended for graphic, product, or web designers who know what they're doing and require more than a Gravit Designer for a beginner's tool. The documentation for Gravit Designer may be helpful for you to become familiar with all the options, especially if you intend to pay for it. Gravit Designer has to have a multitude of choices as well. Check out their YouTube channel for tutorials as well.

Features of Gravit Designer

Gravit Designer, as a full-fledged design tool, includes the following features:

Effects (shadows, overlays, mirrors, etc.)

Text frame tool

Fonts by Google

Knife instrument

Graphs of paths

Forms of pens

View the presentation/slides

SVG editing software

Text rewriting

The text engine

Additional noteworthy characteristics include the following:

The graphic design tool will generate smooth curves around a shape's points.

You can either close or open an incomplete path to add more points.

Any path or shape can be turned into a text path, and the text can then be placed inside or outside the way.

A shape may get as many borders & fills as you like; each edge and fill will act as a separate layer.

You can also apply as many effects as you want to each layer.

Create styles that control the border, fill, effects, and text. If the technique is applied to multiple objects, you can change it once and have it affect all of the things.

When you enter lorem into a text box and press "space," a "Lorem ipsum" paragraph will appear.

Making Use of Gravit Designer

Gravit Designer downloaded it here. After signing up, you'll either start from scratch or select a template. You have a choice of using pre-set sizes or videoing your own when making a new design. A canvas with an infinite size will be used if you don't want to specify one.

Gravit Designer's Dashboard

The dashboard appears to have information at first glance, but it is well-organized and simple to use. I like how the tabs along the top allow you to switch between projects. Additionally, you can change the view to dark mode by holding Edit, Settings, and selecting Dark Storyline from the dropdown menu.

Elements Adding and Editing

A toolbar roughly comparable to Sketch had been found at the top of such a dashboard.

Stacking arrangement

There are three possibilities in the column on the left edge of the screen:

Layers contain all of your project's pages and layers.

Libraries contain all of your drag-and-drop options.

You can keep the design components you want to use repeatedly in symbols.

The first layer had created when I added a photo. The image had then centered by choosing Align & Align Center from the context menu after right-clicking it.

What are Gravit Designer Pages?

Gravit Designer's pages function a little differently from other design techniques; they resemble both artboards and pages that you may be familiar with. Having its canvas settings, a page is a separate document. Each project begins with a single page by default. More pages can be added by clicking its icon in the top-right corner of such pages window.
